Meet Inspires Tuition

Helping young minds grow since 2015

I'm Rose Carter, founder of Inspires Tuition; built around one idea: no child should fall through the gaps.

I've been an educator since 2007, starting my career in primary education before moving into secondary, where I developed a focus on SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health).

As both a teacher and a parent of a child with SEN, I saw the same problem again and again. There simply weren't enough specialist places available, so children who needed something different were left in mainstream education, and their needs weren't being met. I wanted to help.

I founded Inspires Tuition in 2015 so that children and young people could stop falling through the gaps.

Since then, I've worked with students aged 5 to 18, tailoring each session to their unique needs, whether that's academic progress or social and emotional development. My focus has always been on helping young people not just complete their tasks, but become confident, independent and proactive learners.

I've taught English and Maths, including GCSE and Functional Skills up to Level 2, and I continue to encourage every tutor who works with Inspires Tuition to keep developing professionally, just as I do.

Our mission at Inspires Tuition is to help young minds grow, so that children and young people can be the best they can be, irrespective of social status, gender, culture or diversity.
